Growing gregariously in clustered on a rotting hardwood log in low mixed oak/hickory woodland slope. Flesh tough/leathery.

Smell: Faintly pleasant. Mealy, like oatmeal.

KOH: Organish-brown on cap surface and slightly yellow on hymenium.
