• Nearby Trees: Bur Oak, Eastern Red Cedar, Elm, and White Mulberry.

• Latex cream/buff colored, similarly to lamellae.

• Smell: not distinctive

• Taste: pleasant and mild

• Spore Print: light buff

• Microscopy: Mounted in Melzer's Reagent. Spores amyloid, highly ornamented with tall ridge-like spines that create a reticulate pattern.
